“Hannah has been the perfect dance teacher for me. I am a student who has little studio dance training,
as I only have truly danced in musical theatre productions. Because I want to get serious with my craft,
I turned to studio instruction with Hannah.
In addition to studio classes, she also became my 1-on-1 instructor in preparation for college auditions. In 2020, she helped me learn and perfect 20+ routines (some with time constraints of only 2 hours to learn from the university). These were in every style: ballet, jazz, tap, & contemporary. I also appreciated how she would challenge me to go the extra mile and learn optional dances that would give me a leg up. Safe to say that because of her guidance, I am now in a dream musical theatre program where I can dance every week.
Now that I am in my program, her lessons and teachings still help me to this day. Through Hannah I learned how a typical dance class is run. This has become very important to me in my major as I feel more confident in the process of how my dance classes flow. I was also taught by Hannah the importance of repetition in technique at the beginning of class. For example, in my current ballet unit at college, we start at the barre (just like in studio with Hannah). Because of the repetition of similar ballet training, I am very familiar with exercises and terminology used in my current dance class. Similarly, because of my previous knowledge,
I have been suggested to be placed in a higher dance class next semester.
Besides being a terrific teacher and dancer, she is an extremely good friend. She cares for me as a person and my progress. I have never felt less than I am as a dancer in her presence. She is very positive and motivates me to do better. She encourages me to get through the rough patches in dance and offers great advice on how to overcome adversity. I have been extremely lucky to find her at a time that I desperately needed her. Anyone would be lucky to work with her as I know I am.”

“Hannah is such focused and approachable choreographer. She explains what she wants, is able to clarify and correct with intention and patience in equal measures. More than merely setting a work, she sets a mood. Her work creates a world for both the audience and the performer.”
Anna Croney, colleague
“Our daughters have taken dance with many instructors, at multiple studios, for fun, and competitively, and they always loved having class with Hannah. Hannah was motivating, fun, and all-around great dance teacher and choreographer who could challenge our kids while showing them how to succeed.
Thank you, Hannah!”
